SydneyIt’s a’s Icon Bondi Beach The beach is a long, golden curve, stretching for kilometer, between two headlands. It’s surrounded by waves of surf. It’s urban, mixing swimming and surf with the buzz of a big city. Bondi is popular with locals, tourists, and Instagrammers. There’s always a place to sit on the shoreline or the lawns that surround the beach. (There are barbecues at northern reserve.) Many people enjoy jogging in bare feet on the sand, or along the esplanade lined with street art. Bondi’s trendy boutiques are centered around Gould Street. Don’t miss the nearby Aquabumps gallery for surf photos. It’s a paradise for sunbathers, surfers and swimmers.
