The trees are amazing, the slopes are not crowded and the lift lines are very short. I spent the majority of my visit in the trees. The summit is only 6,800 feet high, so it’s not one of the tallest mountains, but it gets almost 300 inches per year and has a remarkable terrain. Whitefish offers night skiing on several chairs.
