5. Eizan Railway, Kyoto
Eizan Railway’s beauty is captured in 2,572 Instagram posts. It is a popular destination for leaf peepers. Its most scenic section features a tunnel made by maple trees arching over the track. A fiery display is created as you speed out of Tokyo and head to Kyoto.
4. Keihan Railway, Kyoto & Osaka
In fourth place is the Keihan Main Line connecting Sanjō Station in Kyoto with Yodoyabashi Station in Osaka. The orange and brown colors of the landscape are reflected in the carriages by the sunny skies that dominate almost half the autumn season.
