The hospitality is warm, the bread is freshly baked, and all dishes are made daily. “It’s also tucked away in a non-hot spot of Cabo—a cozy setting that is exactly what locals crave more than another resort chain.”
Hernandez recommends a lunch at the coast after exploring Cabo San Lucas. Baja BrewingPlaya el Medano, a beach ideal for shallow swimming. Jazamango in Todos Santos as an off-the-beaten-track option. “I promise, it’s worth an hour drive!” He describes the rustic, relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant as a result of the wooden tables and chairs outside, the aromas emanating from the wood-fired pizza oven, and the chickens running about. Hernandez says that the menu at this restaurant is more farm-to table than any other in town. He lists dishes such as grilled octopus and fresh ceviche. This is the kind of restaurant where everything tastes as if it was made with purpose. “It’s the perfect spot for a lazy, long lunch with a chilled glass of wine, great conversation and no hurry.”
