    Niagara Falls’ Newest attraction lets you virtually fly over the falls with wind, mist, and scent

    Niagara Falls is a geological wonder that attracts millions of tourists every year. They’ll now be able get closer thanks to a ride experience that allows travelers to virtually fly above the thunderous waterfalls.

    The new “Niagara Takes Flight: A Soaring Adventure” experience The dome screen is more than 55 feet wide and offers a birds’ eye view of the Falls. according to the Niagara Parks Commission. The new attraction suspends its riders using gondola seating. It also uses sensory effects, such as scent, wind and mist to enhance their experience.

    Bob Gale, chair of Niagara Parks said that the project was “supportive of our pursuit to become one of most spectacular parks in world, driving tourism and supporting local economy.”

    Niagara Parks used a Disney Imagineer for the creation of the ride. Canadian director James Cameron was also tapped to narrate a portion of the pre-show. Before embarking on the six-minute long ride, visitors will be guided through a series of rooms. These include one that features Indigenous artwork, and another that details the post-contact histories. Niagara Falls.

    The flying theater seats are accessible. However, guests will need to transfer from their mobility devices into the flying theatre seat.

    The ride is located at the top of the building. Table Rock CentreIt is located atop Canadian Horseshoe Falls, and offers shopping and dining. The cost of the tickets is $29 Canadian Dollars (about $19 for adults).

    Stan Cho, Ontario’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming, said that the new attraction will “create lifelong memories” and be another reason for bringing your family and friends to Niagara.

    Cho added: “Niagara Falls is a Canadian icon–an awe-inspiring natural wonder unlike any other on the planet… [Now] The Niagara Region will have never-before-seen natural beauty and visitors can experience it like never before.
