    Inn on Fifth

    • The aesthetic is sleek and minimalist with bright pops as accents.
    • Club level suite guests can enjoy additional benefits like a complimentary breakfast each day and a Happy Hour.
    • The Inn on Fifth, located in Old Naples is just a few blocks away from the famous white-sand beach.
    • There are three toothsome on-site restaurants here—and hotel guests get priority for same-day reservations.
    • Renting bassinets or cribs for your child can be delivered right to your front door.

Situated on Florida’s southwestern coast, Naples, Florida, is known for its sugary, white-sand beaches and its somewhat sleepy (if very affluent—you can count no less than 90 golf courses here) beach town vibes. However, this city does have a lively, cosmopolitan side—and the best place to experience it is from one of the most unique hotels in Naples, the Inn on Fifth.

The Inn on Fifth could be one of Florida’s more interesting hotels. One thing is that it used to be a bank. In 1998, Phil McCabe bought the building from the local businessman. He renovated it to become the sleek and modern property it is now. But perhaps the most compelling thing about the Inn on Fifth is its prime location—it’s in the thick of all the charm and vibrancy of Old Naples, which is known for its restaurant scene, nightlife, and plentiful shopping opportunities.

When I arrived at the hotel, the valet team met me and checked in my vehicle. They also grabbed my luggage and led me to check-in. The main building was awash with luxury design elements, including crystal chandeliers, a grand staircase and marble accents.

During my time at the hotel, I stayed in a Club Level suite, so I got to begin each day with a complimentary breakfast spread and a mimosa—not a bad way to kick things off. The concierges provided me with a list of all the things I could do at the hotel. They also confirmed any appointments that I had made, gave me the access code for the free bike rentals and recommended fun activities in the surrounding area. It was the quintessential Florida Gulf Coast.

    The Rooms

The Inn on Fifth offers 119 rooms that have all been decorated with care. Crown molding and a refined vibe are evident in the rooms. tufted headboardsThe overall color scheme is black and white, with playful pops in color. All rooms have a terrace or balcony that’s furnished. Flat-screen TVs are also available in the rooms. cozy pillow-top mattressesKeurig coffee makers, slippers, and bathroom robes.

The room was a Club Level Suite, and there were two features that I loved about it. The rooms are soundproof. Walking out the door, I could hear a lively happy hour happening, with clinking glasses, roaring laughs, and upbeat music—I couldn’t hear a peep inside my room. The suite also had a separate living room with some of the most comfortable chaises and couches I’ve ever slept on. The marble bathroom was stunning, with a 19-inch TV, rainfall shower and lovely soaking bathtub.

    Food and Drink

There are dozens of restaurants along Fifth Avenue and Third Street, but if you don’t feel like going out, there are three solid on-site dining options at the Inn on Fifth—including some of the most popular eateries in town.

The following are some of the ways to get in touch with each other Truluck’sThe restaurant on Capri’s Isle of Capri offers a wide variety of fresh-caught seafood including Florida stonecrab. Ocean Prime The restaurant is famous for its steaks, but they also serve delicious cocktails and sides. Do yourself a favor and ask for the duck fat popcorn—it’s a showstopper. To dine, you’ll need to make reservations. The openings tend to go fast. Reservations for hotel guests will be given first priority. There’s also the Blu Bar & Grill, which serves things like sandwiches and wraps near the pool, so you can snack while soaking up the sun.

You’ll also get a free breakfast each morning if you stay in a Club Level Suite. There’s also a happy hour every day with appetizers and cocktails. This is not your typical hotel happy hour, where you’re served a few bottles wine. Each evening, the bar was stocked with a variety of spirits, syrups and mixers made in-house, as well as bitters.

    Activities and Experiences

Lounge chairs are a great addition to the pool area.

The Inn on Fifth is a boutique hotel that has all the amenities and features I look for in a good hotel. The rooftop pool, surrounded by a lush garden, is on the second level of the main building. There are also plenty of seats, a lounge bar and a firepit. On the newer building, there’s a hot tub that is only available to Club Level Guests.

The Inn is partnered with the nearby Tennis and Golf Club. Arthur Allen Tennis Center Golf courses nearby such as Tiburón Golf Club The following are some examples of how to use The Rookery at Marco. Family Friendly Offerings

The Inn at Fifth is a family-friendly hotel that welcomes guests of any age. The concierge will help parents find tickets to nearby attractions, such as the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens The following are some examples of how to use Naples Botanical Garden. The shuttle service is free. Gordon River GreenwayA lush park overlooking Naples Bay.

The hotel has partnered with BabyQuip Families traveling with small children can avoid the hassle of packing and carrying baby equipment. Renting everything is available on site to ensure a comfortable stay, including a crib, bassinet, stroller and car seat. To make it easier, all rented equipment will be delivered directly to your room before your stay.

    Accessibility, Sustainability and Sustainability

The Inn on Fifth offers accessible rooms. Grab bars are available in bathrooms with roll-in-showers, as well as wider entry doors and a visual alert system.

Double doors are available at all entrances to the property for those guests in wheelchairs who require extra space. A mobile hoist is available poolside to assist guests in entering and exiting the pool. The Club Level building has a wheelchair-accessible elevator for guests. There is no hoist to lift guests up into the hot tub, but it can be reached via a few stairs.

In terms of sustainability, the Inn of Fifth has been certified as a Green Business. It uses environmentally friendly (and refillable!) cleaning products that are free of harsh chemicals. In addition to LED lighting and sensor-controlled panels, the hotel has made other efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. In the room, guests can find shower pumps that replace bottles of bodywash, shampoo and conditioner.

    Location

The Inn on Fifth in Fort Myers is only three miles away from Naples Airport, a 10-minute drive. It’s also just 34 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport, a 40-minute trip.

Unless you’re coming from Fort Myers or another part of Florida, you probably won’t need a car when you’re here—the hotel has a prime downtown location that makes it easy to just walk during your visit. There are art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops and (ofcourse) sugary white-sand beaches You can find everything within a short distance. Shuttle service and complimentary bike rentals are available if you do not want to walk. You can drive to the hotel and still be less than 20 minutes from attractions like the zoo, museum or the sand dunes. Conservancy of Southwest FloridaThe artsy Baker MuseumEnjoy the waterfront at. Tin City.
