Chase Travel has found that the three most popular destinations for Labor Day Weekend are San Juan, Puerto Rico, Maui, Hawaii, and Miami.
San Juan The island’s growth was 116 percent over the previous year. This can be partly attributed to Bad Bunny staying on the island for most of the summer. “We’re seeing the gig-tripping trend really take hold—where travelers build entire getaways around marquee events,” Karen Magee, President of Valerie Wilson Travel, a Chase Travel Group company, told Travel + Leisure. “In Puerto Rico’s case, Labor Day offers the ideal mix: easy, nonstop flights from U.S. major cities, great weather and an important draw like Bad Bunny’s Concert.”
