It’s supposed to be a way to escape from pain. However, when you suffer from chronic pain as I do, it can make every trip feel like a race. I spent years learning how to manage persistent, all-body nerve pain, which flares up from the wrong clothes and shoes. The right travel gear should be a priority.

After much trial and error, I’ve discovered a few items that are essentials.
