    Palm House Hotel

    • Palm House Hotel is a newly opened hotel in Palm Beach Florida that was named one of the top new hotels this year. Travel + Leisure‘s 2025 It List.
    • The whimsical décor offers a refreshing take on Palm Beach’s classic aesthetic, with plenty of Instagrammable moments.
    • The hotel’s location is ideal for those travelers who do not wish to rent a motor vehicle.
    • The pool is heated and the rooms have separate seating areas. Bikes are also available to guests.

The lobby is the entrance to the Palm House HotelA shimmering, coral and shell mural welcomes guests to the new Palm Beach hotel. Minda Dowling a seasoned hospitality art curator asked local artist Christa Wim to create this piece. She had a specific vision.

“I wanted the murals to be like Schiaparelli—totally surreal, so that when people were in there drinking and listening to music and having adventures, that was the background to their experience,” Dowling explained.

Wilm created a cascade with mother-of pearl motifs and coral to anchor the vaulted ceiling. The Palm House Hotel Lobby is decorated with a trio stunning Murano glass chandeliers hanging above plush ruby colored sofas and chairs, all facing a beautiful pink bar.

Palm Beach It is not known as a minimalist. Palm House HotelT+L named’s newest hotel among the top new hotels 2025 It List, embraces wealthy enclaves’ obsession with busy palm leaves prints and pastels. The hotel does this in a sophisticated and modern way, thanks to hospitality giants such as Dowling and the interior design studio Muza Lab.

The hotel’s opening also marks an important milestone—it is the first American property in the Iconic Luxury Hotels portfolio by the London-based L+R Hotels, which also includes the Cliveden House in the UK And the Excelsior Venice Lido, in Italy.

The Palm House Hotel is a new hotel that has taken over an historic pink 1960s building on Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach. It offers a variety of amenities for both locals and visitors. There’s a Japanese-Peruvian Restaurant with outdoor seating, a photography collection by Tim MacPherson and Slim Aarons celebrating Palm Beach lifestyle, 79 stylish rooms and suites with features like balconies, private outdoor spaces with sun loungers and a Gray Malin swimming pool.

Here’s a review of the Palm House Hotel.

    The Rooms

The hotel offers 58 rooms divided into four categories and 21 suites. This includes a two-story Presidential Suite, which is butler serviced and has an Alaskan King-size Bed, a Dining Area, two balconies and a Kitchen. The accommodation is spread over three stories, two wings, with a lobby, dining room, bar and pool in the center. The Grand Double Queen Bedroom was on the ground level, and my husband, son of six years, and I were all there. I recommend it if you are traveling with young children. The room was close to the pool and had a private patio. The ground floor location was great for safety, and the fenced-in outdoor area allowed me to enjoy the sun more than once.

The living room of the Presidential Suite has large windows that lead to the second terrace.

My husband and I both like to get up early, so having a coffee machine that makes a great cup of coffee is one of my favorite in-room amenities. All rooms come with Nespresso espresso machines. You’ll also find Natura-Blisse toiletries in the bathrooms.

The rooms were generously sized, averaging 550 square feet. There was a work desk and a sitting area in our room, and plenty of space for my son. The room was close to the lobby but I did not find it loud. During cocktail hour we could hear distant conversation, but at night, the crisp Ocochi sheets and comfortable beds allowed us to sleep peacefully.

Muza Lab’s work on the interiors is outstanding. It celebrates Palm Beach’s established design codes while blending them in with contemporary touches.

According to Inge, the company founder, and Pin, the senior designer of the project, their goal was to design a space that would “seduce” people and “make them smile.”

A key component was the materials—shells, custom-made ceramic tiles, antique mirror motifs, natural raffia, and Murano glass—invoke the coastal elegance of Palm Beach. The colors, classic Palm Beach pink and green—are seen throughout the property, establishing an undeniable sense of place.

Dowling, too, blended the past with the present by displaying vintage 1960s Slim Aarons photographs from Palm Beach and contemporary pieces by Tim MacPherson. (“All Things Pink”) depicts a rosy-headed woman in a Cadillac driving a pink car with a rosy dog on the backseat. Brad Walls’ series of six photographs featuring synchronized swimmers, hung in our hallway. It was my favorite thing to see every day. The art collection is an ode to Palm Beach, both playful and glamorous.

It was important to us that we stand out and be different. Dowling explains that “we were the new kid on the block, two because we are British and three because I wanted things to be a little different.”

    Food and Drink

Palm Bar is located in the hotel lobby.

Palm House Hotel, which opened in early 2025, had been open for only a couple of weeks. However, its restaurant and bar were already a hit. The lobby is filled with lively chatter every evening by 6 pm as guests enjoy classic cocktails at the Palm Bar. A pair of tuxedoed-clad bartenders serve the drinks. Menus with Daiginjo Sake and Asian-inspired drinks are also a highlight. I tried the Matsuhisa Martini made with Suntory Haku Vodka, sake, ginger, and japanese cucumber.

The Palm House Dining Room has a design that is different from the lobby and bar. It combines Pam Beach glamor, with Japanese minimalism. Chef Jerry Ayala provides an extensive menu. Kushiyaki We enjoyed the chicken skewers, sushi, nigiri and cold and warm dishes. These included Japanese A5 Wagyu, from Miyazaki Prefecture, toro with caviar and tender miso-glazed Black Cod. We enjoyed the seafood ceviche on the breezy deck of the restaurant overlooking the swimming pool.

My six-year old son ate the banana caramel soy Toban Yaki almost all by himself. The Bento Box was a combination of chocolate fondant cake, matcha gelato, and a rich, decadent dessert.

The Dining Room offers breakfast, dinner and lunch. Poolside, you can order from the complete food and beverage selection.

    Experiences and Activities

The hotel pool is lined with lounge chairs.

A heated swimming pool in the middle of the hotel is flanked by cabanas and pink umbrellas. The pool features steps on one side, where most children played. On the other end, it is 4.5 feet deep.

On the ground floor, there is a gym for those who do not like to miss their workouts while on holiday. You can also rent a bicycle from Guest Services and take a ride along the coast.

My favorite amenity, however, was the beach concierge. Ask the hotel staff to set up loungers on the beach, an umbrella and mocktails for free.

Visiting with a six-year-old also meant we took advantage of the house car pretty often—it was just a quick call or message away, to take us anywhere within a couple-mile radius of the hotel.

    Location

The hotel’s location is one of the highlights—just minutes from Worth Avenue with all its designer shopping, galleries, and chic restaurants, and a block away from the beach.

Henry Morrison Flagler’s Gilden Age house, with its collection of art and opulent furnishings, is just a 5-minute drive from the hotel. The Society of the Four Arts offers a cultural program that includes many activities for children.

We spent a lot of time on the beach and in town. Henry’s Palm BeachEnjoying ice cream in the city Sprinkles.

    Accessibility, Sustainability and Sustainability

The hotel has a pool lift, an entrance ramp and rooms with automated blinds and doors. The hotel has made efforts to be environmentally friendly, including the use of paper cups, agave straws and electric vehicle chargers.
