    Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced, along with Shenzhen Yuen Kai Hotel Management Co. Ltd. (“Yuen Kai”), the opening Mumian Shanghai Expo. The event marked the debut for the Hyatt Unbound Collection in Shanghai, China. The waterfront is located in the Shanghai Expo area and offers panoramic views of Lujiazui’s skyline. The property blends classic Shanghai architectural elements and contemporary luxury to deliver an authentic Haipai culture experience for curious travelers.

    Mumian Shanghai Expo is inspired by the idea of a “secret garden mansion.” It combines Oriental aesthetics, with the timeless beauty of a Shanghai style mansion. Guests are invited to experience the Shanghai Haipai culture of the golden era. Mumian Expo Shanghai features 332 tastefully decorated guestrooms suites and serviced residences. Some of these have sweeping views of Huangpu River and Lujiazui’s skyline. Designed with clean lines, warm textures, and an abundance of natural light, the spaces artfully weave in subtle nods to Haipai culture, striking a balance between contemporary sophistication and local charm—all tailored to meet the evolving needs of modern travelers.

    The hotel features a collection of elegant dining and cultural venues which combine culinary artistry and creative inspiration. All-day dining venue SUGAR PAVILION Serving a variety of delicious food, including specialty coffees, desserts and beverages. The space, which features rotating art displays, curated retail products, and a casually sophisticated ambiance, invites guests in to enjoy wholesome, flavorful food. Inspired by the concept of a “secret mansion”, Xiao Nan Yang Restaurant Offers authentic Huaiyang, Shanghainese and innovative fusion cuisines. A discerning wine selection is also available. The restaurant has four private dining areas and direct access the 18300 square foot Zhuguang rooftop garden. There are two flexible function rooms available for private and business events. Zhuguang Art GalleryArt exhibitions are regularly held in the dynamic space to inspire and encourage creativity.

    A Cultural Sanctuary in the Heart of the City

    The hotel, located at the corner of Expo Avenue & Expo Park in Pudong Expo’s Expo Zone, overlooks Huangpu River. Nearby are cultural institutions like the China Art Museum (which is within walking distance), the Expo Center and the Power Station of Art. The hotel is conveniently located near the Lujiazui Financial District, the Qiantan Commercial Hub and other cultural institutions. It’s a hub of metropolitan energy and artistic energy.
