The Spanish hotel group that operates more than 100 properties around the world reported a 17% reduction year-over-year in its Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emission for 2024.
Scope 1 emissions are those that Iberostar directly owns or controls. For example, fuel for boilers. Scope 2 is the indirect emissions that are a result of electricity and energy purchased.
