Avis Budget Group has introduced a new luxury service that allows customers to avoid the long lines at airport car rental counters and shuttles.
The new curbside services, also called Avis First‘s rental car service will deliver cars to airport terminals. according to the company. The new service can be found at the major airports of Denver, Honolulu and Palm Beach in Florida.
Avis CEO Brian Choi said: “I remember hauling strollers and car seats through airport trams, which can be difficult.” Travel + Leisure. “We believe this makes a big difference.”
Choi believes Avis First is a new category of service in the car rental market. It offers concierge-level service at a premium price.
The vehicle of their choice is delivered to the terminal when travelers sign up for the service at the airport. Avis charges customers the current market price of gas, so they don’t have to worry about prepaying or refilling their tanks.
All cars in the Avis First Program are low-mileage 2025 models.
