Excel Group has acquired the adjacent Hampton Inn & Suites Coconut Creek and Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Coconut Creek hotels in Coconut Creek, FL. The acquisitions of these properties are the company’s first in South Florida in several years and are investments of Excel Fund I.

The Hampton Inn opened in 2014, and the Residence Inn in 2019. Both hotels have 105 rooms and over 1,000 square feet of conference space, plus outdoor pools, fitness centres, and communal amenities. These hotels are near key demand drivers, such as two major medical facilities, corporate and industrial spaces, sports facilities, and the Seminole casino. Hampton Inn has just completed a complete renovation which included all new furnishings and designs for the guestrooms and public areas.

Shoham Amin is the founder/principal of Excel Group. He said, “We are thrilled to acquire both Hampton Inn Coconut Creek and Residence Inn Coconut Creek hotels, which are high quality assets in top-performing select service brands.” These two transactions demonstrate the opportunity to acquire hospitality properties in South Florida, which is a market with thriving tourism, business, and healthcare sectors.
