    Firethorn breaks the ground on Sackville Place Hotel in Dublin

    Ireland: Real estate developer Firethorn is currently building the Sackville Place, a 138-bedroom hotel in Dublin’s central city., The Gofer management division of SW3 Capital is now in charge.

    Sackville Place is Firethorn’s very first project outside of the UK. It also marks its debut into the tourism industry.

    Stewart Construction is delivering the seven-storey building, which will include a variety of room types, including private doubles, double, triple and quadruple bed dormitories.

    Communal spaces including a bar, café, and lounge will span the ground floor and basement.

    Paul Martin, Firethorn’s director and head development said: “This milestone is significant for us. Sackville Place represents not only Firethorn’s first Irish tourism project, but also its first asset in the field of tourism. We’re thrilled to be bringing this new concept into the heart of Dublin with Stewart Construction and now that work is underway.

    Firethorn and SW3 Capital acquired the site together.

    Tom O’Mahony said, “This milestone is testament to the hardwork and dedication of our whole team.” We’re excited to be moving into the next stage as we prepare for our hospitality brand The Gofer to open and operate.

    Stewart Construction’s managing director Paul Stewart stated: “We are pleased to partner Firethorn on their first Irish project. Our team is well-versed in the needs of the hotel industry, and we are committed to deliver this project to the highest standards.

    The hotel should be completed by March 2027.

    Highlights:

    • Firethorn has broken ground on its first Irish project, the Sackville Place hotel in central Dublin.

    • The 138-room hotel will feature communal spaces including a bar, café, and lounge.

    • When complete, it will be operated by SW3 Capital’s management arm The Gofer.

    • Practical completion is scheduled for March 2027.
