Olympia Hospitality Has partnered with Mountain Shore Properties Hotel Genevieve is now under new management in Louisville.

According to Sara Masterson of Olympia Hospitality, the 122-room hotel, located in East Market District (also known locally as NuLu), is a significant addition to Olympia’s growing portfolio.

She said, “Hotel Genevieve has a great reputation and is a vital part of Louisville’s vibrant hospitality scene.” “By leveraging the expertise we have in managing both independent and branded properties, and programs that resonate well with travelers, I see a great opportunity to position Hotel Genevieve for long-term success.”

The transition also marks the hotel’s introduction into the JdV by Hyatt collection, aligning it with the global lifestyle brand, all while preserving the hotel’s character and community connections in Louisville.

“We are incredibly excited about Olympia Hospitality taking the helm at Hotel Genevieve and, in turn, joining the JdV by Hyatt brand,” said Stephen Wendell, CEO, Mountain Shore Properties. “This strategic move is more than just a name change; it is about leveraging the unparalleled reach and powerful distribution engine of a global brand to unlock Hotel Genevieve’s full potential. We believe this partnership will significantly enhance our visibility and profitability, ensuring Hotel Genevieve continues to thrive as a premier destination in Louisville.”

The company says that the hotel’s name, Saint Genevieve, is both a tribute to Louisville’s rich culture and its roots in the historic neighborhood. Interiors are a fusion of vintage and modern furniture, layered with local art and a vibrant color palette. Food and beverages are available on site, including Byrdie’s restaurant, the rooftop lounge with a view of downtown Louisville, as well as a grab-and-go street market and a speakeasy style jazz bar.
