Jo&joe Reveals a New Location In Budapest

In August 2025, JO&JOE will open a new location in Budapest, setting up shop in the iconic Pest district. The hybrid ‘Open House’, which is a hotel as well as a social space will provide a welcoming place for travellers and locals to meet.

JO&JOE Budapest will offer 91 rooms and 374 beds, suitable for different types of travellers. The hostel offers comfortable dormitories with shared bathrooms for up to eight people, private rooms with en suite bathrooms for two people, and “OOO” (Out of the Ordinary rooms) for 2-8 people.

Enjoy a lively social scene

The social aspect of JO&JOE Budapest revolves around several welcoming spaces. The restaurant is open throughout the day and serves a wide variety of dishes, from breakfast to evening cocktail, with a focus on local flavours.

The central stage of the bar/club is buzzing with live music, DJ sets and themed nights. Meanwhile, the rooftop and patio offer a panoramic view of Budapest.

Weekly events include stand-up comedians, yoga sessions, pop-ups – and many more. The beer wall will feature local beers.
