Alex Castaldi is the CEO of Sunway’s hospitality and travel division. He told Skift, in an article about climate changes, that the company has now tied a portion or executive bonuses with emissions performance.
He said that if we do not meet our climate goals, our bonus will be reduced.
Sunway, which is headquartered in Malaysia has committed to achieving net-zero emissions of carbon by 2050. The interim goal was to reduce emissions by half by 2030.
