The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is delighted to announce the appointment of Raymond Habibe as its new hotel manager. Raymond Habibe, who was an initial associate at the resort when it opened in 1995, brings passion and experience to his role. He will oversee the resort’s operations and ensure key performance metrics are met to ensure excellence.

Raymond’s journey in hospitality began with the grand opening of the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, where he served as assistant controller. Later, he became the opening operations manager for Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club. His career with Marriott International in the Caribbean flourished with finance leadership roles at the Marriott Curacao and Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino. Raymond was also a successful director of operations in a full service branded resort.

In 2015, Raymond returned to the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino as complex director of finance. In this role, he significantly improved compliance, enhanced anti-money laundering measures, and drove financial performance across the complex, which includes the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino and two Marriott Vacation Club resorts: Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club and Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club.

Raymond holds a bachelor of science in engineering from State University of New York as well as a master of business administration from New York Institute of Technology.
