    Davidson Hospitality Group announces the appointment of Jason Reader as Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for driving best-in-class operational performance and profitability for the leading management company’s growing portfolio. Functional oversight covers all Davidson operating segments, including Davidson Hotels, Davidson Restaurant Group Pivot, Davidson Resorts and select platform service departments like strategic operations and marketing.

    Reader has over 25 years experience in the hospitality sector. His journey began as a dishwasher at a Perkins Restaurant, Pennsylvania. This led to a career of operational excellence and passion for guest experience. In his most recent role, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Remington Hospitality. He was promoted from Senior vice president of operations to Executive Vice president and finally COO. Reader was Chief Operating Officer of Magna Hospitality for 15 years and served in various leadership positions at Pyramid Hotel Group. He contributed to the growth and success of the company. He has managed hotels from more than 20 leading lodging brands in North America. His passion is independent and lifestyle properties.

    Reader earned a CHA from the American Hotel & Lodging Association and currently serves on both the Marriott International and Hilton brand advisory councils, the Marriott International lifestyle advisory council, and the Hyatt Hotels Corporation franchise advisory council. He has a B.A. The Trinity University has awarded him a Bachelor of Arts in History.
