In order to receive the AAA Five Diamond designation for hotels and restaurants, these establishments must first pass a rigorous assessment that includes an unannounced personal inspection and anonymous overnight stay, and then a review of a panel by experts. This final step ensures credibility. As AAA Inspectors inspect properties all year, the Diamond list is updated every month. The AAA Diamond Program evaluates all hotels and restaurants annually to make sure they are providing the best service for guests and travelers.
