South Africa Family-owned safari brand The Claremont Boutique Hotel will open in Cape Town, South Africa this September. It is the first hotel of its kind outside of Sabi Sabi Collection’s reserve lodges.
You can find us in the Cape Town The Claremont Hotel, located in Claremont’s suburb under Table Mountain is housed within a manor from the 1920s that was previously known as The Andros Hotel. Dakota Designs is the company leading the transformation.
The Sauer Suite, with its own pool and separate entrance, is one of 15 bedrooms that are individually designed and spread across the manor and gardens.
Shared spaces include the safari lounge and garden conservatory, alongside F&B venues Veld & Vine Bistro, the wine-focused 1928 Craft Bar, and a cafe. Spa is another amenity.

The collection will grow with the Sandringham Private Game Reserve after the opening of The Claremont on September 20, 2025. in South Africa’s Limpopo province – a former hunting reserve that is currently being transformed into a safari destination, set to launch in summer 2026.
