GetYourGuide CEO Johannes Reck has slammed the possibility that the U.S.A. and European Union were close to reaching an agreement, which would give American tech firms a voice in how Europe implements its Digital Markets Act.
According to the Wall Street Journal, this agreement is part and parcel of ongoing trade negotiations. It would stop enforcement during those talks.
“The decision is clear. Either we create a competitive digital market for Europe or we become a digital backwater. Reck stated, “I already know the future for which I am fighting.”
