The ship itself may be the highlight of this trip.

Hilton states that the Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience ships have five decks. There are only 29 suites on the ship, which ensures a personalized experience from the moment guests step aboard. Although there are currently only renderings for the rooms, the vision includes white linens on light wood floors and separate living and sleeping areas, as well as massive floor to ceiling windows that open up to verandas.

Aside from the luxurious amenities, travelers will be able to enjoy a “state-ofthe-art” fitness center, a spa, as well as “distinctive experiences in food and beverage,” including Waldorf Astoria’s signature Peacock Alley – a brasserie serving Egyptian, Mediterranean and international cuisine. But the rooftop deck is the ultimate perk. Guests can enjoy Nile views at night and day.

Hilton hasn’t been in Egypt for the first time. According to the statement from the company, it currently operates 14 hotels in Egypt. It also stated that its lifestyle brands will “triple” its presence there. Michael also added that this new sailing was just the beginning for the brand’s adventures, which will include the opening of the legendary Waldorf Astoria in New York and the debut of destinations such as Osaka, Costa Rica and the most recent openings of Sydney, London, Jaipur, and many others.

The first sailings will begin in late 2026. Hilton’s website for booking details.
