The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Emily Bond as Director of Marketing, a role in which she brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience, including over a decade with Marriott International and work with premier luxury brands such as St. Regis and The Ritz-Carlton. Bond will be responsible for the marketing strategy of the resort, with an emphasis on brand positioning, partnerships, digital innovation and deeper guest engagement.

Winfred van Werkum, General Manager of The St. Regis LongboatKey Resort, stated that Emily brings a unique combination of brand expertise and creative energy. Her leadership will play an important role in elevating our brand and deepening our connection between our resort, and discerning travellers seeking an exceptional Longboat Key experience.

Bond, who joined The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort in 2016, was previously Director of Marketing of a portfolio that included luxury and premium hotels throughout North America. She led the integrated marketing strategy for properties across California, Las Vegas Denver, Utah Texas and throughout Midwest. She began her advertising career as a creative copywriter. This experience continues to influence the way she approaches brand storytelling. She brings the same creative energy and charisma into her work today, with a passion to create compelling narratives which elevate guest experience.

Bond stated that she was “excited to join the St. Regis Longboat Key Resort Team and contribute to an iconic brand that represents timeless luxury and meaningful experiences for guests.” Bond said, “Sarasota has a rich cultural heritage that I can draw inspiration from. I am excited to create marketing materials that reflect the spirit of the Longboat Key resort and its beauty.”
