    Best for: Outdoorsy Adventures

Castelfalfi offers a range of kids clubs for older children. Castelfalfi is another charming, ancient village and castle dating from 754 AD. It spans over 2,700 acres. The hilltops are home to villas and suites for every family, offering spectacular views. It is also the perfect location for an adventure theme park. With 10 woodland courses, heights and difficulty ratings increase with age (ranging from 3 to 12)—with the hardest encompassing Tarzan ropes, a cargo net, jumping mats, zip lines, and zooming through the treetops on a toboggan sledge. Other activities include falconry, fishing, archery and archery tags, evening safaris and bushcraft classes lasting two hours. Students learn how to build a fire, make a shelter and other useful skills.

That’s all before we even mention the Montessori-informed Falfy Kids Club program: divided into two groups—one for kids ages 3–6 and the other for those 7–12—it includes customizable game tables, a brick playhouse, and a kitchen for whipping up pizza, pastaThe hotel has six restaurants including the fine dining spot La Rocca. If this doesn’t work, there are children’s menus in all of them. This playground, which is situated next to the Hotel in the former local school, also features a mini farm, a vegetable and herb garden, as well as rabbits, hens, and other animals.
