Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has opened the doors to Dolce by Wyndham Siracusa Monasteri Golf & Spa in Sicily, offering guests an experience of the true essence of la dolce vita, the sweet life. This enchanting 102 room compound is set amongst fragrant citrus orchards outside Siracusa – a UNESCO World Heritage City steeped with mythology and baroque splendor. It was once a Roman Villa, then a 9th century monastery, and finally a Sicilian Masseria.
Offering 83 guest rooms, 14 junior suites, and five king suites, each designed to reflect the building’s storied past, Dolce by Wyndham Siracusa Monasteri Golf & Spa features an extensive range of amenities, including an 18-hole, par-71 golf course spanning 90 hectares within a lush plantation of oranges and lemons. The hotel also has a fitness center and the Monasteri Spa where guests can enjoy a variety of wellness and beauty treatments. There are two indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as a steam and sauna room.
At LE CERAMICHE, the resort’s signature restaurant, Sicilian chef Mirko Previtera, trained in the world’s top Michelin-starred kitchens (including the globally renowned The Fat Duck in Bray in the UK and the prestigious Les Prés d’Eugénie in France), brings his deep local roots and culinary artistry to the table. You can expect to find dishes with a nostalgic feel, bold Mediterranean flavors, and seasonal ingredients. You can choose to dine inside or under the stars.
Dolce Siracusa, the second Dolce hotel in Italy, brings the brand’s blend of a refined lifestyle, cultural experience, and sensory indulgence, to one of Italy’s most fascinating regions. It is not just the perfect destination for those on holiday, but it also caters for business travellers and events, with its two large conference rooms that can accommodate up to 200 people. The property has a sophisticated, large ballroom that offers panoramic views of the grounds and golf course. It is ideal for larger events.
Dolce by Wyndham Siracusa Monasteri Golf & Spa is perfectly positioned to explore the island of Sicily, with easy access to white sand beaches, food markets, and historical sites such as the Neapolis Archeological Park and the 7th century Cathedral of Siracusa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Dolce by Wyndham brand has gained strong traction in recent years across the EMEA region in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Greece, and Türkiye. The brand has 12 hotels across EMEA, with more on the way. Developers can join this curated collection in destinations that are rooted in family, signature cuisine and first-class events.
