Schroder International Selection Fund is an asset management company. It has made a significant investment in Ixigo, the online travel agency. The online travel agency stated that the financial institution purchased a 1.38% share in Ixigo through the block deal.
Ixigo shareholder Elevation Capital sold 7.5 millions shares on Thursday in a bulk deal worth about INR 1,35 billion ($15,7 million). Schroder purchased nearly 5,37 million shares at INR 969 millions ($11.2million).
Elevation Capital sold 21.5 lakhs shares in the last month. The price was INR 382 Million ($4.4million). Elevation Capital holds 12.08% even with the block sale.
Elevation has seen a 250% return according to Ixigo.
