    Wyoming was ranked the fourth-best state for retirement on WalletHub’s list of the Best and Worst States in which to Retire in 2025. It is now even more appealing to retire to. 

    WalletHub compared 50 states in three categories: quality of life, affordability and health care. The website explained it used 46 metrics to measure these categories, including adjusted cost of life, average annual costs of adult in-home care and out-of home health care, as well as the share of population over 65. The website also included some fun metrics, such as the number and type of museums, golf courses, and theaters in each city, as well the number of volunteer opportunities to keep retirees busy.
