The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Fari Islands Oscar Postma has been appointed as General Manager at the property. Oscar has more than 25 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, corporate leadership, and Asia, Europe and the United States. He brings with him a wealth operational expertise, strategic insights, and passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Oscar is an innovative leader with a long history of managing world-renowned hotels and leading them through brand transformations, renovations and pivotal transitions. Oscar was most recently the Cluster Operations General manager for Conrad Singapore Orchard, and Conrad Centennial Singapore where he managed strategic operations at both hotels. Prior to this, Oscar held the role of General Manager at Regent Singapore, where he navigated the property through a major brand transition, achieving a record-breaking F&B performance.
Oscar is also well-versed in the Marriott luxury portfolio. Previously, he served as Executive assistant manager, Rooms, at The St. Regis Singapore as well as The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. The Ritz-Carlton is proud to welcome him back to its brand after a long history of exceptional service and refined hospitality.
Fari Islands Oscar, in his new role as The Ritz-Carlton Resort Maldives’ Operations Manager, will oversee all aspects, and ensure the delivery of an unparalleled guest experience, which is in line with The Ritz-Carlton’s luxury standards.
