Portugal/Greece: Travel association ABTA has been added luxury hospitality group Domes Resorts is its first ever hotel partner.

ABTA members can connect with companies offering services and travel products through its partnership programme.

Members receive exclusive access to partner services, such as insight reports and special offers, while partners benefit from marketing support, industry insights, and networking opportunities.

Hotel brands are now included in the programme, alongside airlines and tourist boards as well as legal and financial service providers. Hotels who want to increase their sales via the UK travel trade can now establish relationships with travel agencies and tour operators.

Domes has joined 160 other companies to form ABTA, a partnership that spans a wide range of industries. The group’s luxury, lifestyle, and family-or-adult-friendly properties are located across Portugal and Greece.

George Spanos said, “This is an exciting and proud moment for us all at Domes Resorts.” It is a great milestone for Domes Resorts to become ABTA’s very first hotel partner. This also demonstrates the trust we have built over the years with the UK Travel Trade and our efforts to increase standards, transparency and build long-term relations. Domes will keep innovating, and building trust with guests and partners.

Claire Biddle, commercial director at ABTAAdded: “Partners have a key role in our company. They get privileged access with ABTA Members, while our members receive trusted, vetted Suppliers who know the trade and help their sales. “We’re thrilled to launch this category with Domes Resorts, and we look forward to welcoming other hotels that are looking to establish strong relationships with UK travel industry.”

ABTA intends to expand the category by adding additional hotel partners.

    Highlights:

    •  ABTA has added Domes Resorts as its first-ever hotel partner, expanding its partnership programme beyond airlines and services.

    • Hotels can now join ABTA to access UK travel trade opportunities, including marketing, networking, and industry insights.

    • Domes Resorts is a collection of luxury, lifestyle, and family-or-adult-friendly hotels located in Portugal and Greece.

    • ABTA plans to add more hotel partners in the future.
