    Hilton Expands Caribbean Footprint by Signing Elephant Tree Resorts and Villas Tobago Tapestry Collection By Hilton

    Today’s global hospitality leader Hilton Tapestry Collection By Hilton, Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago (NYSE:HLT), announced that it has signed a contract with the company. This exciting new development will bring the Tapestry Collection brand to Tobago in 2028. The resort, which will be part of Tapestry Collection, by Hilton, will join an impressive global lineup of almost 160 independent Tapestry Collection Hotels, each of which is celebrated for their unique personality, vibrant character, and integration of local elements and experience.

    Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago are operated by Hotel Equities. They are located in Roxborough which is a charming village on the southern coast of Tobago with over 1,000 feet of beachfront. The resort is a boutique-style experience that offers tranquil, private villas nestled in lush, natural beauty. There are 40 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 126 fully furnished apartments, including 88 large three-bedroom units and 28 stylish two-bedroom ones. Buyers of the branded residences can join an optional rental program, which allows them to add the units to the inventory. Each residence offers up to 1,560 sq ft of living space. It will feature high-end materials like quartz countertops and elevated decor.

    Residents and guests will be able to enjoy a variety of amenities that will enhance their stay. The resort will feature a modern spa offering rejuvenating treatments and a fitness center with the latest technology. Three pools will be available, including one with a three-story, multi-level waterfall, and another for children. The resort also features 400 square feet in meeting space that is perfect for weddings, small functions, and other gatherings.

    Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago offers a wide range of culinary options to suit a variety tastes and preferences. The beach club offers a vibrant atmosphere with a bar and grill located along the shoreline. Guests can enjoy delicious grilled dishes and refreshing cocktails, while enjoying the stunning ocean views. The lobby bar offers a relaxing atmosphere for guests with a variety of drinks and snacks. It is the perfect place for socializing after a busy day exploring. This signature restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining spaces with a beautiful ambiance.

    Tobago, with its newly opened ANR Robinson International Airport terminal, is the perfect destination for those who are looking to experience untouched natural beauty as well as cultural experiences. Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago is located in a prime location that will allow guests to easily access nearby attractions, such as Argyle Fall, the island’s biggest and most popular waterfall. It reaches a height of 175 feet. Speyside village, located on Tobago’s northeastern coast, is also a popular destination for guests. Speyside is known as the Caribbean’s dive mecca, boasting some of the most beautiful coral reefs. It is a favorite destination for divers.

    Elephant Tree Resort and Villas Tobago will join Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, enhancing Hilton’s presence on both the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Hilton has three other projects in development including Hilton Garden Inn Trinidad Airport, Hampton by Hilton Trinidad Airport, and Hilton Garden Inn San Fernando South Park. Hilton will expand its footprint across the Caribbean and continue to broaden its fast-growing portfolio which currently includes almost 40 additional properties under development.

    Hilton’s expansion in the Caribbean region and Latin America reached record levels in 2024. Hilton will continue to grow in the Caribbean and Latin America region through 2025, with more than 285 open hotels and resorts and more than 140 hotels that are in various stages of construction.

    Tapestry Collection By Hilton has a global lineup of almost 160 independent hotels, as well as a pipeline that includes 123 more projects. The brand continues to expand rapidly, with a record number of 30 hotels scheduled to debut in 2025. This is the highest amount in a year.
