Manchester Central Riverside Travelodge opens for business

Travelodge’s presence in Manchester has been expanded with the opening its newest hotel, the 104 room Manchester Central Riverside. This new property offers even more affordable accommodation in the city. This hotel is situated less than a half mile from Manchester’s city centre, and offers over 100 parking spots.

The hotel is easily accessible from the motorway system. It takes only 18 minutes to drive to the M6 from the site and 8 minutes from the M60.

With good public transport links too, with buses serving the city centre passing the site and the major Deansgate-Castlefield railway and metro interchange less than a mile away, Manchester Central Riverside Travelodge caters to both business and leisure guests.

The Travelodge is also well-suited to sports enthusiasts. Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, is less than half a mile away, while the Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City plays, can be reached in 10 minutes or 35 minutes via public transport. For those who want to learn more about the rich history of football, there is a National Football Museum nearby.
