Highfield’s dynamic career spans more than 20 years in hospitality. Highfield brings to the table a wealth operational expertise, deep mountain resort experience, and a style of leadership rooted in an commitment to enriching guest experiences.
Highfield, a veteran of the hospitality industry, has more than ten year’s experience providing excellent service in mountain resort destinations, including Aspen and Bachelor Gulch. He also worked at Lake Tahoe and Deer Valley. He has held progressive leadership positions with prestigious brands like The Ritz-Carlton, Montage International and Lake Tahoe. Highfield is thrilled to return to the mountains to lead Madeline Hotel & Residences into its next chapter of success.
In his new role, Highfield will oversee all operations at Madeline Hotel & Residences, ensuring the seamless execution of the property’s already impeccable standards and furthering its legacy as the leading alpine resort in Telluride. Highfield was appointed for his engaging guidance strategy and is a new chapter in the history of Madeline.
Highfield, who is a professional skier and mountain biker, also has a passion in the outdoors. As a skier, fly-fisherman and mountain biker who loves the outdoors, Highfield shares his passion for mountain adventures with Samantha, their children Abigail and Grahame and Beau Alexander, their beloved dog.
