AirAsia Move will be removing the name “AirAsia”, from all of its branding over the next 18-24 months.
Move, once known as Southeast Asia’s leading low-cost airline, is looking to separate itself from the app.
“AirAsia will be moving out in another 18-24 month. We will establish this brand in the following way. Move searches are already starting to increase,” said Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia Move.
Rebranding is not just cosmetic. AirAsia Move absorbed AirAsia’s digital assets in the last few decades, and this was not a simple decision.
