Hilton announced plans to increase its presence in Saudi Arabia this year by reaching the landmark of 100 opened hotels. The company has a long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia, and 14 brands are currently in operation or under development. Hilton plans to expand its hotel rooms in various locations across the Kingdom by over 21,000 units.

In order to continue its expansion in Saudi Arabia, the company has introduced more brands and created a portfolio with a variety of options. Hilton’s flag is flying in one of every four new hotel rooms in Saudi Arabia.

Hilton launches its premium economy Spark brand in the Middle East by signing Spark by Hilton Makkah. This demonstrates the company’s strategy of growth. The new brand features a stylish, minimalist design, spacious guest rooms and a complimentary continental breakfast, all at a price that is affordable. Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah will open this year with 329 guest rooms.

Spark by Hilton is a new addition to the growing presence of Hilton’s midscale hotels in Saudi Arabia. It is a complement to existing brands like Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn that account for one-third Hilton’s hotel pipelines.

Hilton’s expansion plan extends to the luxury sector with its iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and Conrad Hotels & Resorts brands. The company has signed a multi-property deal at The Avenues Riyadh – the Kingdom’s biggest mixed-use development – which will house a Waldorf Astoria hotel and a Conrad.

Hilton’s pipeline of properties in Saudi Arabia will create more than 15,000 jobs, which aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 Plan. The company operates 20 hotels within the Kingdom and has another 77 in its pipeline. This accounts for one quarter of the branded hotel rooms currently under construction. Hilton is reaffirming its commitment to Saudi Vision 2030, by providing world-class hotel experiences.
