Hilton and Al Musbah Group have partnered to open the first Spark by Hilton Hotel in Saudi Arabia. The hotel marks Hilton’s entry into Middle East & Africa’s premium-economy category.

Hilton has announced that it will partner with Al Musbah Group to open the first Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah in Saudi Arabia. Hilton is now entering the Middle East and Africa premium economy market. The hotel will open in late 2018.

The strategic location of this hotel in Makkah’s Aziziyah will be a great attraction for pilgrims. This is because it is close to Masjid Al-Haram to the east, Mina which has a strong religious significance, and there are direct trains to Arafat. Commercial outlets are also located nearby to serve religious travelers all year round.

The Spark by Hilton Makkah Aziziyah has 329 rooms, which blend comfort and style with quality. The hotel’s goal is to provide reliable essentials, friendly service, and an affordable price. The hotel will have a communal space, a complimentary breakfast and separate prayer rooms for men and women.

Hilton’s continued growth in the kingdom is boosted by the new partnership. It strengthens Hilton’s presence in the most dynamic market in the region. The company will reach the milestone of 100 operating and developing hotels in Saudi Arabia by this year.

Hilton currently operates 20 properties in Saudi Arabia, and another 77 are planned. The company is committed to Saudi Vision 2030 and has built a quarter the number of branded hotel rooms in the country.
