Dusit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies, is pleased to announce that Ms Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk, Vice President – Operations (Central & Southern Thailand) and Government & Business Relations, has been appointed President of the Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) for the 2025–2026 term.
TICA was founded in 1984 as a non profit organisation. TICA plays a crucial role in promoting Thailand for MICE, meetings, incentives and conventions.
Ms Tantiprasertsuk, who has served TICA for more than 30 years, including as Vice President, brings a wealth of industry experience, a commitment to sustainability and a collaborative attitude to her role. Her appointment highlights Dusit International’s continued contribution to Thailand’s tourism and hospitality industry through strong leadership, values-driven engagement and a track record of more than three decades.
Ms Tantiprasertsuk said, “I am incredibly honored to take over the role of President from my previous position as Vice President of TICA.” “At Dusit I have always felt proud to be a Thai representative on the international stage. Now, in my role as TICA president, I am also privileged to lead efforts to promote Thailand as a top-notch MICE destination. Together with partners from the public, private and foreign sectors, I’ll work to make sure Thailand is top of mind among organisers.
Drawing on Dusit’s four core pillars of Dusit Graciousness—Service (personalised and gracious), Locality (uniquely linking guests with the local community), Well-Being (delivering wellness experiences beyond the spa), and Sustainability (social, economic, and environmental)—Ms Tantiprasertsuk intends to integrate these values into TICA’s national MICE strategy.
She stated that her goal for TICA was the same as for Dusit. “We won’t just keep up with competitors—we will lead them.”
Ms Tantiprasertsuk replaces Mr Sumate Sudasna Ayutthaya as TICA president. He served in that position for 16 years. She is inspired by his visionary leadership and committed to maintaining TICA’s good reputation, while promoting transparency, professionalism, empowerment of future leaders, and preserving TICA’s strong reputation.
Her appointment joins a growing number of Dusit executives who have made significant contributions to the industry on both a regional and global level.
