Rudi was born and raised in Germany. He began his hospitality career as a server in Berlin at the Four Seasons Hotel, where he found inspiration in the teamwork and the meaningful connections he made in the industry. Rudi, a seasoned hospitality professional, has led international teams to success, earning him regional and worldwide recognition. Rudi was the Director of Operation at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. In this role, he furthered guest experience and operational excellence in one of Canada’s most renowned resorts.
The leadership style of his mentors, who demonstrated humility, consistency and a sense of purpose in their lives, allows teams to work together harmoniously, like a well-conducted orchestra.

Rudi, his Canadian wife, and their dog, Spatzle, have settled in Vancouver for the West Coast’s natural beauty, lifestyle and quality of life. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, tennis, cooking, and long walks in Pacific Spirit Park with his wife and their dog, Spätzle.
