MakeMyTrip is an online travel agency that has reported record financials for the 2024-25 fiscal years, driven by growth in segments such as international outbound and Spiritual Travel.
CEO Rajesh Magow noted that the company had identified the underpenetrated outbound international market as an important growth opportunity. The international airline ticketing revenue increased by 33% while the international hotel revenue increased more than 65%. Now, the international business accounts for 25% of all revenue.
MakeMyTrip increased the number of directly contracted hotels in destinations that have direct flight connections to support this growth. Popular travel packages for Thailand, Singapore and the Maldives performed well.
The company launched standalone tours and attractions in the March quarter.
