NexGen Hotels, based in Illinois, has acquired the Claridge House Chicago Hotel located in Chicago’s Gold Coast Historic District. The hotel is scheduled to undergo a major rebranding project and will become a Tapestry Collection By Hilton hotel in the summer of 2025.
Claridge House Chicago, located at 1244 North Dearborn Parkway in one of Chicago’s most famous areas. The hotel is close to many attractions including Wrigley Field and 360 Chicago. It also offers easy access the Magnificent mile, Soldier Field, the Lakefront Trail as well as the Lincoln Park Zoo. The 165 rooms are also close to museums, restaurants, retail outlets and entertainment venues.
Hotel rooms feature a sophisticated design with a residential style decor. They are also equipped with modern amenities such as plush pillows, clothes steamers and complimentary Wi-Fi. A fitness center and an on-site spa are also available at the hotel. It has a 685-square foot meeting space with audio-visual and technical equipment.
Claridge House Chicago has two restaurants. Cal’s, at Claridge house, offers an array of dining choices from morning pastries and coffees to a complete evening menu. Sushi by Bou Gold Coast is a high-end restaurant in an opulent environment.
