A historic firehouse in Fort Worth’s Near Southside, Magnolia Avenue, has been converted into the Nobleman Fort Worth. It is a new Tapestry Collection Hotel by Hilton. And the Duchess restaurant, which is run by a chef. The property was developed by Jeff Blackman, of Bedford Lodging. It features 153 rooms and suites.
The Nobleman Fort Worth is a part Tapestry Collection By Hilton and has announced its opening on the Near Southside of Fort Worth and Magnolia Avenue.
The hotel and the restaurant are seamlessly integrated into the original historic facade of No. The landmark No. 5 Fire Station dates back to 1911. The property, located at 503 Bryan Avenue, is a blend of dining and hospitality in one of Fort Worth’s most dynamic neighborhoods.
Jeff Blackman from Bedford Lodging designed the 153 rooms, suites and extended-stay apartments, which include 121 standard guestrooms and 32 suites equipped with kitchenettes. The renovated fire station is the heart of the hotel. It houses the check-in area, the communal spaces, the game areas and the Duchess Restaurant.
The Nobleman Hotel is designed to cater to a wide range of clients, including weekend travellers, visitors from the medical district, business travelers and local residents. The hotel features a swimming-pool, a fitness center with the latest technology, outdoor event and meeting spaces of 2,000 square foot, and terraces.
The Duchess, located in the historic firehouse building at street level, offers New American food influenced and inspired by Texas. It is based on seasonal ingredients. A partnership with Lucchese will elevate the dining experience in the Duchess’s Bar.
Kathy Moran-Clarson of KMC&A Design designed the Nobleman’s communal areas, rooms, bar, and restaurant. The original fireman’s pole and the renovated staircase in the hotel’s lobby, with white tiles and brass accents, enhance the arrival experience.
Ashlar Projects’ co-owners Brooke Hollis Hortenstine, and Missy Wyszynski created the Nobleman Hotel, and Duchess Restaurant. They designed the logos for both hotels and restaurants, as well as messaging, menus and visuals. Crossland Construction of Kansas provided the construction and Crestline Hotels and Resorts is a national hospitality company that will manage this property.
