The ski-in/ski-out resort, located at the foot of its named mountain, caters to visitors who want to enjoy 1,610 acres of skiable land, seven chairlifts, 76 designated trails, and over 650 inches snow per season. The whole property has a hunting-château aesthetic—when you first walk into the lobby, you’re greeted with a diorama of stuffed animals, including a polar bear. The communal areas are furnished with a variety of leather and wood furniture, Indigenous art, and roaring fireplaces. Rooms are outfitted with heated towel racks and coffee pots. They also have ski storage. Alyeska also has a hot tub and a large indoor saltwater swimming pool. sauna.
