Hōm Santorini
Santorini has many boutique hotels. However, if you don’t include the well-known, large brands, it is difficult to find out what a hotel really stands for. Hōm is among the best. This 12-room hotel, located in Oia’s popular town, describes itself as a “summerhouse”. While the soul of a summerhouse is clear—easy, breezy, carefree days under the summer sun—the space is so much more than the term might suggest. You can start by dining with caldera views at the poolside. Dishes like moussaka, with bechamel and potato confit, or sea bass, with fennel-flavored Orzo, are available. There’s also the gym and spa treatments. There are also the rooms. Most of them have hot tubs with sea views and one has a plunge-pool. The service is also exceptional, yet personal. This stylish hotel may be overshadowed by the bigger names, but its stay is up to par with them.
