Hotel Bourré Bonne LouisvilleCurio Collection By Hilton, an innovative new lifestyle hotel that combines history with modern sophistication has opened its doors in downtown Louisville. Conveniently located near the trendy NuLu district and steps away from Whiskey Row, the Kentucky International Convention Center, and the KFC Yum Center Arena, Hotel Bourré Bonne is the premier destination for leisure and business visitors alike. The 168 rooms feature timeless design and world-class cuisine. A rooftop restaurant, bar, swimming pool and bar are a unique addition to the hotel. Hotel Bourré Bonne offers an elevated and immersive experience for visitors and residents to celebrate the heart and soul of one of the most charming and historic cities in America.

Named as a playful nod to Louisville’s famed horse racing culture and the French origins of Kentucky Bourbon, Bourré Bonne – meaning “good bet” – symbolizes the winning choice guests make when stepping into a world where history meets modern sophistication.

The hotel’s striking contemporary design, conceived by Zyyo in partnership with Mark Zeff’s design team, features a striking exterior with arches that evoke the historic cast iron facades of Louisville downtown. An oxidized sculpture of a horse head welcomes guests to the hotel. Deconstructed bourbon-barrels adorns the lobby ceiling.

The interiors are a mix of polished and raw concrete, custom woodwork and earthy tones inspired by the Bluegrass State. In the hotel, commissioned art pays homage to Kentucky’s natural beauty, traditions, and icons through a uniquely local perspective. On one wall of the lobby, a large-scale installation of local texts anchors a sculptural installation. A collage of historic photos on another wall evokes an intense sense of place. Visitors can immerse themselves in the rich culture and art of the city through murals by local artists Tyler Robertson and Sabra. Featuring 168 thoughtfully designed guestrooms, including four suites and 16 deluxe rooms, Hotel Bourré Bonne offers spacious accommodations featuring luxurious creature comforts such as Frette’s bedding, bathrobes and slippers, bar carts stocked with hand-selected local bourbons and spirits, bespoke toiletries by Misc. Goods Co. The headboards in the guestrooms combine comfort and sophistication with mid-century modern silhouettes. Luxury Kentucky-made items, including leather goods, artisanal snack and snacks, are available in the hotel’s boutique. This allows guests to take home a bit of Louisville’s artisanal culture.

For those seeking an unparalleled culinary journey, Hotel Bourré Bonne features two distinctive dining destinations conceptualized by acclaimed restaurateur Kevin Grangier, mastermind behind Louisville’s popular Le Moo and Grassa Gramma concepts. On the ground-floor, Steakhouse Bourré BonneThe menu is inspired by French cuisine and paired with Kentucky’s finest Bourbons. A carefully curated wine list completes the experience. The interiors are adorned with a sculptured open kitchen, which creates an unforgettable and convivial experience. The ceiling is adorned with a sparkling installation of stars and guests dine on oversized brocade chairs. Intimate dining is offered in cozy booths with artwork from Grangier’s private collection, and at a table reserved for small groups. Highlights include the Fischer Farms and Creekstone Farms Steaks, Maine Lobster Ravioli, croissant loaf with spicy butter, millionaire Mac and caviar services.

Uniqueness is found upstairs Rooftop Bourré Bonne The bar and restaurant is a 6,000 square foot indoor-outdoor room with panoramic views of the city. It offers a full-day menu, including chili crunch shrimps, Kentucky fried sliders and truffle deviled egg caviar. The cabanas offer a relaxing and luxurious experience for guests.

With over 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including two boardrooms and a ballroom with floor-to-ceiling views of the Ohio River and historic Whiskey Row, Hotel Bourré Bonne is a premier destination for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. A large pre-function space with bar access and rooftop lounge ensures smooth event flow. Private dining and lounge areas provide charming settings for small celebrations.

As Louisville continues to evolve, Hotel Bourré Bonne is a bold cornerstone of the city’s next chapter—a place where past and present converge, where every moment is an opportunity for discovery, and where guests are invited to embrace the exhilarating rush of a winning bet. Whether indulging in fine dining, unwinding with a cocktail overlooking the skyline, or exploring the vibrant streets of downtown, every guest at Hotel Bourré Bonne is invited to experience the spirit of Louisville in a way that is both timeless and extraordinary.
