I can’t even count the number of times I have made the rookie error of underestimating Florida’s sun. This has left me with some nasty burns. No one wants to bring home a bunch of those after a vacation. It’s essential to choose an SPF that’s lightweight and easy to carry around. My biggest tip is to drink enough water. While it may seem simple, between munching on Mickey pretzels, and hopping from park to park, hydration is often put aside. And let’s face it, nobody wants to spend their Disney World snack budget on an expensive plastic water bottle.

Finding a lightweight, refillable bottle can be a lifesaver. This bottle is great because it’s fun, has a long-lasting ice freeze, and can be attached to a bag strap with a carabiner.

Keurig is a coffee maker that can be found at all Disney resorts. This might work for those who aren’t caffeine-dependent, but I can’t do it as I have to drink my iced coffee every day. You’ll need to be prepared in case your shoes break down. Blisters are the worst possible scenario. They not only cover the blister but also heal it, so it does not get worse.
