What did you look for in a winter pant?
In my 20s and teens, I would leave the house wearing cute, but insufficient legwear, just for fashion, in, let’s say, cold weather. Those days have long passed. It’s important to me that I can stay warm while exercising or doing other things in the cold. It’s important to have pockets that are reliable for an ID, credit card and gum. They should also be easy to see. The FP Movement style ticks all three boxes.
What is your overall opinion of these leggings?
They felt luxurious right out of the box. The material is thick and plush but still has a slim shape. I like the high waist with the interior drawstring, and the compression fabric that prevents your stomach from booping after lunch. The lining of this pair is a soft fleece that makes it feel like you are being hugged by a teddy. The side pockets are secure (and have zippers!). The reflective details and side pockets with zippers are nice, but my favorite detail is the unzippable ankles. They allow me to roll the pants down to the knee if it suddenly gets hot.
What is the best use for these?
They are comfortable enough for you to wear on planes or trains. It’s definitely outdoor leggings as wearing them on the treadmill can be very uncomfortable.
ProsZipper pockets and ankles. Opaque, compression fabric. Cozy.
The Cons of UsingRunning indoors is too hot.
