Memorial Day weekend The summer season is fast approaching, so it’s time to switch out my heavy winter clothes for lighter, more comfortable ones. lightweight, breezy styles Designed to keep me comfortable and cool. However, being Travel + Leisure’s After uncovering my wardrobe, I couldn’t leave it as is. After uncovering Quince’s Vacation ShopI’ve started to select new pieces of clothing that I’ll wear over and over again in the next few months. With the volume of flattering, stylish items, it was not easy to select the most travel-friendly choices to add to my shopping cart.

After browsing the website, I picked out 12 pieces of breathable clothing that I would pack in my suitcase on every trip this summer. Everything is stylish, mix and matchable, and under $60. From effortless cotton maxi dresses The following are some of the ways to get in touch with us: a pair of shorts I’m These affordable picks will help me upgrade my wardrobe without compromising on quality.

100 percent European Linen Long-sleeve Shirt

    Quince

Simple white linen shirts are the foundation of any summer wardrobe. Just imagine. You can use it as a cover-up for the beach or a stylish layer to wear out on a date. At $40, the 100 percent linen option is a truly unbeatable deal—and it even comes in 16 gorgeous colors and patterns. It is a summer essential because it’s lightweight and breathable. When I’m not using it, it takes very little room in my suitcase. Just throw it on and pair it with a pair of matching linen pants to be the best-dressed person in any destination.

100 percent European Linen Wide Leg Pants

    Quince

The perfect companion for the button-down shirt aboveThese wide-leg linen trousers are going to be my favorite this summer. I hate shorts, so they’re perfect for me. The elasticized ruched waistband makes me feel comfortable whether I am on a long flight or exploring a foreign city. The loose fit makes them breathable, flattering and cool. They come in three different inseams to suit all travelers, whether they are tall, petite or regular.

100% Organic Cotton Tiered Maxi Dress

    Quince

I live in loose-fitting, maxi dresses for the summer. These dresses are easy to wear, look great, and don’t feel restrictive or tight. Quince’s $60 tiered maxi checks all the right boxes. It’s made of a breezy fabric that is free-flowing and gauzy without sacrificing its quality. This is all I really ask for when it comes to my clothing. Its slightly cropped fit is ideal for a petite traveler like me—no more excess fabric dragging behind me or getting caught underfoot. The thicker straps also stay in place without slipping from my shoulders when I walk. The straps come in an array of colors that are eye-catching, but my favorite is the wild cherry and white.

100 percent European Linen Fitted Tank

    Quince

It’s hard to pass up a linen top at this price. Normally, linen tops like this go for over $70. The top is fitted but not skin-tight. This provides some relief even on the hottest days. It strikes the perfect balance between casual and dressy, which gives me endless styling possibilities for my next holiday. My favorite summer cut is the square neckline. The square neckline shows just enough of the skin without being too revealing. It feels more polished than a cotton tank.

Cardigan in 100 percent Organic Cotton Cropped

    Quince

Even though summer is just around the corner, I won’t be packing away all my sweaters. This cropped cardigan is the perfect lightweight cotton layer for those chilly evenings. The large tortoiseshell buttons are a beautiful statement without being too overpowering. Cotton is breathable and lighter than wool or other heavier fabrics. I can see myself wearing it with a maxi dress or linen trousers with a simple tee. It would also look great buttoned with a silk skirt. It’s a classic look that I love no matter what.

The Tiered Maxi Skirt in 100 Percent Organic Cotton Poplin

    Quince

It’s time to move on from the neutrals. The playful shape and vibrant shade of this vermilion maxi is exactly what I’ve been looking for in my vacation wardrobe. It’s comfortable (and flattering) to wear, whether you are going out for dinner or exploring. And it has my favorite feature: pockets. It’s also made of high-quality organic fabric that is breathable and durable. It’s only $60 and I think it will be a great addition to my wardrobe.

100 percent European Linen Button Front Dress

    Quince

It’s hard to get enough gingham. The moment I saw the luxe linen dress in this print, my mind was immediately swept away by a vision of me strolling around New York with a tasteful baguette on my shoulder. The mid-calf length is perfect, and the tie belt adds a little visual interest and shape to the dress. The fabric is designed to regulate heat and be exceptionally breathable. This makes it perfect for summer travel. It does have pockets.

    Eco-knit Split Front Sweater Vest

    Quince

This split-front style top is all over this season. Naturally, I’ve been on the lookout for one of my own—and at $30, I think I’ve found the one. The cropped hem falls just below my natural waistline, creating a flattering look. Meanwhile, the stretchy knit fabric is just right to keep me relaxed and comfortable on the move. I already have it in mind with a flowing maxi skirt, linen trousers or oversized shorts to give a more casual feel. It’s so good in black that I might have to buy it again in heather grey.

100 percent Washable Silk Mini Skirt

    Quince

When imagining what to wear, imagine the different outfits. Eco-knit Split Front Sweater VestI could not help but regret that I didn’t own a black simple mini skirt. After spotting a darling satin option priced at just $60, this problem has been solved. Easy to dress up or down—and somehow still incredibly comfortable thanks to its stretchy elastic waistband—this flouncy skirt is bound to be on heavy rotation during my travels this summer, from Cape Cod to Montreal. The skirt is the perfect length for showing just enough leg, without being too revealing. Its timeless design will be a staple in my wardrobe for many years to come.

    Italian Cami One-piece Swimsuit

    Quince

Without a swimsuit, a vacation is not complete. I’ve had my eye on this gorgeous $50 one-piece for a couple of beach and lake trips this summer. The one-piece comes in regular and long torso sizes for the perfect fit. It also has adjustable spaghetti straps, a scoop neckline and adjustable spaghetti buckles. I can feel secure while swimming or relaxing by the water. The fabric is both stretchy and compression (read: comfortable and flattering), but it doesn’t end there. It offers UPF 50 sun protection, a built-in shelf bra for extra support, and is resistant to chlorine, sunscreen, and oil stains—so I can finally stop replacing my swimsuits every year.

100% Organic Cotton Waffle-Cropped Sweater Tank

    Quince

My summer travel wardrobe is dominated by elevated basics. Mixing and matching is easy with these pieces. My closet is already stocked with enough black and white tops for a small soccer squad, so I decided to go with this stylish waffled sweater-tank in camel. This neutral is as versatile as any other, but its delicate knit adds more visual interest to it than my regular basics. It will look amazing with simple linen trousers or dressed up in a maxi or mini skirt. The stretchy fabric will not feel restrictive during the summer heat. It’s only $30 and I may be tempted to get it in dark brown too.

100% Organic Cotton Poplin Pull On Shorts

    Quince

I hate shorts, and I will never apologize for it. But this summer, I am determined to find one that keeps me comfortable while not ruining the rest of my outfit. These $30 cotton pull-on shorts are as good a place to start as any—they’re lightweight, loose-fitting, and have a longer hemline that won’t ride up when I walk. The elastic waistband is perfect for staying comfy during long-haul flights, walking tours, and more, plus they come with two deep side pockets—ideal for stashing my phone and wallet when I’m running errands without a purse. These shorts remind me of the boxer-shorts trend from last summer (specifically, those with a slit in the side). this striped pairI am excited to get the look for a fraction of the cost.
